“The Sistine Chapel of Marvel” – Best seat in the house. The floor.

One of my favorite projects to date. I lovingly refer to it as the “Sistine Chapel of Marvel”. This work was commissioned as part of a media room / collectors lounge for a client with a taste for all things Marvel, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, & More as you will see. The ceiling mural took over 800 hours to complete and was painted mostly while lying on my back on top of a scaffold or standing on one. I could probably write a book about this mural and the time I spent here.

The theme is based off of the final battle in Avengers: Infinity War and many of the major players are represented. Captain America, The Winter Soldier, Drax, Star-Lord, Rocket Raccoon, Hulk, Thor, Doctor Strange, Falcon, Groot, Spider-Man, Thanos and the Black Order, Ant-Man, Vision, War Machine, Iron Man, Black Panther, Hulkbuster, Stan Lee, and a few hidden references as well. I’ll let the images speak for themselves..

This room is part of a private home in a very exclusive community here in North Georgia. The client has asked that we keep his identity a secret. Much like a real comic book hero he has to keep his man cave under wraps. Only a select few will ever see this mural in person but it was an amazing honor to work on it for months, and months, and months, and months. Seriously though, what a treat to be a part of this.
